Old rules apply - nae Googling
- question asker's decision is final (whether he/she is right or wrong)
- whoever answers correct first asks the next question
- There is no end to this
OK, first question - which is the only team to score 1000 goals in each of the 4 top division of English league football (currently Premiership, CCC, League 1, League 2, but formerly Divisions 1-4 of Football League)?

Matthew, Happy New Year, but, unfortunately, No Hibbybrian, Happy New Year, but, unfortunately, No Sean, No ya doss basser
Notts County was not a bad shout TBH, and are the next club likely to achieve this feat, but as of end of 2006/7 season had only scored 682 goals in the 4th tier.

Is it a Lancastrian club? In a broad sense, yes. Some background info: 1000th goal in Tier One was scored by Norman Bullock on 11 December 1926 in a 4-4 draw with Sheffield United. 1000th goal in Tier Two was scored by Eddie Gleadall on 14 March 1953 in a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town 1000th goal in Tier Three was scored by David Lee on 09 May 1997 in a 4-1 win over Blackpool 1000th goal in Tier Four was scored by Brian Barry-Murphy on 27 August 2005 in a 2-2 draw with Wrexham All four above goals were scored at the clubs home ground.

I think the answer to this quiz question is the same as to another (more hoary) old gem of a sports poser 'which football league club has the shortest name?'.
I think its Bury.
